Kaizen transformation helps AMAX reduce waste

AMAX, a California-based high performance (HPC) solutions provider, has credited its adoption of Kaizen and Lean philosophies for its ability to stay ahead of competitors and provide high-quality service solutions to its customers.

The company recently announced the addition of ISO:14001 certification for its U.S. manufacturing operations, as well as China Compulsory Certified (CCC) and TL9000 Certifications for operations in China. These new advancements enable the company to improve its manufacturing capabilities and deliver on its promises of excellence to the end customer.

“As a vision shared by the entire company, AMAX has always focused on the Kaizen philosophy of constant, never-ending improvement,” said Jean Shih, president of AMAX, in a prepared statement. “With the addition of ISO:14001 Certification for our U.S. manufacturing location, we show that we are a green company that truly cares about the environment and its sustenance.”

With consumers throughout the world paying closer attention to their environmental impact, more businesses are beginning to focus on sustainability to meet these needs. Kaizen is the obvious way to achieve these goals, as it revolves around the idea of minimizing waste.
