Summary of Steps

1. Go to the office, process, or gemba (the place the work is done) that you want to document
2. At the top, document the From and To processes, date performed, prepared by, and new standard time for changeover
3. Document step by step the process of a changeover
   1. Note the activities differentiated as Internal, External, Walking, and Waiting time
   2. Using the legend in the top right illustrate the documented times
      • Dashed line for walking time
      • Solid line for internal time
      • Dotted line for external time
      • Double line for waiting time
   3. Total up the times at the bottom
