Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
Summary
The TPM Tag Register Form is to be used for the documenting of items identified during your TPM program. This form can be used during a workshop or for an ongoing program to ensure that all tagged items are tracked.
Objective
A single point of control and reference for the tracking of items, equipment, and materials that have been TPM Tagged.
Summary of Steps
- During a TPM project, write down the date of the project and the work area the project took place
- Transfer information from TPM Tag to the register
- Item Description
- Date Sorted
- The date you tagged the item
- Log Number
- Reason for Tag
- Found in “Defect summary” section
- Classification (needs to assess, discard, need approval, etc.)
- Taken from section “1” on the back of Tag A, if done by AM
- Taken from “summary of action” from Tag B, if done by FM
