The effectiveness of the Motion Diagram is in how it illustrates the amount of motion that takes place during a setup of a machine or in the changeover of a model type. Use this form to visually demonstrate the amount of travel a person makes during a setup. This form is often called a Spaghetti Diagram, as the form usually looks like a bowl of spaghetti when all the lines of motion are drawn.
Enna’s Motion Diagram forms are designed for practical use and to accomplish two main roles for Lean: involve and document. A pad / form consists of 25 – 11×14 sheets of paper with a cardboard backing.
