X-Matrix

The X-Matrix is core to Hoshin Kanri otherwise known as policy deployment. The purpose of the X-Matrix is to draw correlation between organizational strategies, targets, tactics and results. Additionally, for those measures to be achieved there has to be persons or teams that are responsible for contributing to the tactics. This form is the most powerful tool used for the implementation and execution of Hoshin Planning.

Enna’s forms are designed for practical use and to accomplish two main roles for Lean: involve and document. A pad / form consists of 25 – 11×14 sheets of paper with a cardboard backing.
